[But he will lean in to kiss him and its certainly hesitant and tentative, but he isn't shying away right now.]

[This isn't his first rodeo with someone less experienced, so he parts his lips just a little to start with, an invitation for Rufous to explore at his own pace, as desired.]

[He was on the other end of exploration, so there is a lot of hesitation, before tentatively licking at his lips, pressing a little closer.]

[Opening a little more for him to do so!! Go on Rufous, you can do it.]

[He is! Trying! Its awkward and tentative and slow, but he's doing his best to mimic what Hurricane did. Including a hand going to his cheek and the other to his side.]

[He'll gently place his own hand over Rufous', the other curling up in his hair. Maybe pets will work on this anxiety chihuahua too.]

[The pets do feel nice. And it does seem to be helping. Very, very slowly.]

[And he slowly gets more into the kiss, less hesitation even if he's still tentative.]

[He'll open his mouth more and more as he feels Rufous get his proverbial legs under him, pressing his own tongue gently into Rufous' mouth, demonstrative.]

[He shivers and presses more into the kiss. Still tentatively, but relaxing more into it, following his lead on what to do.]

[As Rufous presses in, he lets himself be backed against the tree, hopefully pulling Rufous along with him, one hand still in his hair as the other skates along his side idly.]

[Oh, he's getting pulled along.]

[He follows, hand clutching at his shoulder and the other on his side, kissing him deep and slow, soft, shivering going through him at every brush.]

[Petting his hair a little, like praise for a good performance by following him. And then, tracing that same hand along the side of Rufous' face, fingers brushing along one of his earlobes.

He'll tilt his head too, giving Rufous a better angle to deepen the kiss even further if he wanted.]

[He shudders at that gentle pet and when he touches his ears, it turns into a soft, needy noise.]

[Its hesitation a moment, but he presses closer, deepening the kiss, tongue exploring a little more eagerly.]

[Another pet for bravely exploring, clearly. He'll shift his legs under Rufous just a little, using one to hook behind him and pull him even closer.]

[Another shiver at the petting and he breathes in sharply as he's pulled closer, grip tightening. Being pulled in makes for tension...but the petting is really nice.]

[He keeps kissing him, tongue a little less tentative.]

[Ah, a bad move, then. He lets his leg relax, gently ruffling his hair, hand still brushing up against his ear, letting Rufous take the lead with the kiss.]

[It does help. Getting trapped suddenly is a thing to be wary of.]

[He shivers at the new touches, hands tentatively rubbing slow circles at his side, drawing out the kiss, letting himself feel more of it.]

[But he starts to slow and finally pull back, panting heavily.]

So? It wasn't too terrible, I hope.

[He turns red and looks away.]

...it...it wasn't bad.

[He pauses. Looks at the tree.]

....mind staying still a minute?

[bondsofsuffering]

I'll stay still now if you let me listen to your heartbeat later.

[And then]

[Vines to wrap around Izanagi to pin him to the tree.]

[Oh. That's alarming. He is alarmed.

And actually, he's just going to turn into a bat to avoid being pinned at all.]

[Well. That's inconvenient.]

...you could have waited a few seconds. I'm not sure that counts.

[He flutters up into the tree, perching before transforming back, hanging upside-down by his knees.]

You could've warned me what you were aiming for. Getting tied up is the one thing I can't stand.
