[ One morning, as your character steps out of their home, they are greeted by an owl messenger, bearing a letter. The letter tells them that they have been selected to participate in a gift exchange, and they are to deliver a gift to Alice Liddell by the end of the month. The letter says nothing more, and once the letter is read, the owl will fly away. ]

[ Trying to sneak something into Hunter's room while he's home isn't easy, but Willow somehow manages. So at some point he'll find a box on his bed wrapped in green paper and gold ribbon.

Inside the box is a handmade wind chime - it's easy to tell that it's handmade because the hollow wooden tubes are a bit rough and uneven, the clear work of someone unused to carving. But they're still sturdy and made with care, and the sound they make as the rattle against the dragon scales is still gentle and beautiful, with a gentle aroma of flowers that accompany the musical notes. There's also a note inside the box. ]

Secret Santa gift delivery, backdated to the 25th

[The timing is down to the wire, but Di Feisheng pulls through in the end with the gift of a wooden staff, compliments of knowing a detective his newfound investment in forestry. He didn't make it, but he did find the material, and it's well chosen for the purpose-- dense, durable, and with a nearly metallic sound when struck. This turned out to be a fun quest, and he finds himself sincerely hoping the effort is well received, even if it doesn't do magic and there aren't any birds on it.

Hunter will find it leaned across his door otherwise unwrapped but with a note affixed:]

The staff is a challenging weapon. My subordinate said you do a lot of training, so I hope it serves you well. I will also fight you if you like, but that is not part of the gift.
